Tweet Hearts by Elizabeth Rudnick is not your typical book! Find out about BFFs Claire and Lottie by reading their tweets and emails.

Lottie is a huge flirt! Claire is shy and has a huge crush on a popular lacrosse player named JD. Lottie wants Claire to talk to JD but she can’t – all she can do is talk about him to her friends. Will, one of the guys they hang around with, gets to hear all about Claire’s love for JD. Unfortunately he happens to have a crush on Claire.

Will creates a fake Twitter account to pretend he’s JD and tweets Claire. Well of course she’s over the moon because JD tweets her – or at least that’s what she thinks.

And of course things spin out of control – Claire now thinks JD is into her and Lottie wants Claire to talk to JD now that they are Twitter friends. Will can’t find the right way to tell Claire he’s been the one tweeting her the whole time and he has a crush on her.

Find out what happens to the bunch and if any of them find true love.
