Student Blogger Jami L. Reviews SERIOUSLY, I’M KIDDING November 24, 2013

imgres-2Seriously I’m Kidding, is an autobiography written by Ellen Degeneres.  It’s about her life as a celebrity and some of her most precious moments.  In this book, you learn about her opinions on many different things like: magazine articles, kids, and much more .  She talks about her wonderful pets, her garden, and she even adds some humor into it.

I enjoyed this book a lot.  I thought she did a well-done job on telling her story in an interesting way.  I liked the fact that she could be so personal and really funny at the same time. Although, I did think that she might have put too much humor into it and not enough facts about her life.  Furthermore, I found that some of her jokes were repetitive throughout the book.  I would recommend this book for people who are reluctant readers.  This is a great book for people who don’t really like reading because it isn’t slow and it starts off right away.  If you liked Miles to Go by Miley Cyrus, you will definitely enjoy Seriously I’m Kidding by Ellen Degeneres because they both are well written and just overall good books.
